Texas

My son and I used to go out sightseeing in and around Ft. Worth where my wife, I, our three daughters and aforementioned son lived for 10 years. We found our favorite swimming spot at a lake about ten miles from home. I memorialized it in one of my favorite landscapes. The city has a serious ongoing love affair with all the arts and is too often and unduly overshadowed by nearby Dallas. The city’s arboretum, japanese garden, and Forest Park near its museum district are all exceptional. Out in the varied landscape, I sketched and then finished paintings at home. I showed frequently at Evelyn Siegal Gallery and many of my paintings remain in Ft. Worth private collections.
